Initial consultation – Your designer will do a site visit to understand the scope of the project; collect measurements, assess the home layout, and determine details for any special needs. During the consultation, design inspirations and functionality requirements are also reviewed.
Design Layout – Your designer and a CAD specialist will work together, spending about 10-15 hours, designing your space based on information obtained during the initial consultation and site visit. This design is based on the criteria given by the home owner, including any special needs and design inspirations for the project. During this phase of the project, your designer will spec cabinetry, countertops, necessary appliances, plumbing fixtures, lighting, possible flooring, electrical needs, and any construction or demolition needs. All of these items will help to define the scope of the project and help determine costs, budgets, and timelines for the project.
Design Consultation – Your designer and CAD specialist will meet with you in our Design Studio to review the design by providing a digital presentation of the layout. The digital presentation offers line drawings and color renderings that will visually define the project and provide a sense of the finished space prior to any work being started. This presentation allows you the opportunity to get a life-like feel of your space. During this visit, you are also able to touch and feel cabinetry choices, see many options of door styles, stain and paint options, visit our countertop department to see the many colors and finishes available, and view the many flooring, tile, and low voltage lighting options we have to offer.
Project Management – Once we begin your project, your designer will work with you and our project manager to establish timelines for ordering any cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, and low voltage lighting needed. Your project manager and designer will also work together with you to keep your project progressing on schedule, including the coordination of all deliveries, materials and contractors. We continually work together to deliver your project on-time and on budget.
